It all started innocently enough about five years ago.  I was at a sorority reunion, catching up with a friend who I hadn’t seen in years.  I asked the usual innocuous question, “So, what kind of work do you do?”

My friend hesitated, then confessed she was a Healing Touch practitioner.  She did some sort of energy healing, and could help people heal by balancing and restoring harmony in their energy system.  She didn’t even have to touch them to heal them.  Heck, she didn’t even have to be in the same room…or the same state.

You’re skeptical?  So was I at the time.  But I listened.  And a year or two later, my old friend Carmel and her friend Michelle — both of whom are psychic mediums and energy healers — came to Los Angeles to visit.  One night during their trip, we held a psychic girl’s night out for a small group of women in my neighborhood. Just for fun. But by the end of the night, the group was blown away.  In their words, that night was “life changing.” We were convinced that spiritual beings had communicated with us.

Since that introduction to the world Beyond I have experienced energy healing for myself.  I have had psychics deliver messages from departed loved ones, giving me information that would be meaningful only to me. I have worked with an astrologist who had never met me before, but who provided insightful information just by reading my birth chart. I’ve learned to meditate, to go within.  I’ve experienced my own communications from Beyond.  And I now believe that when it comes to the spiritual world, anything really is possible.

I was recently asked how I got interested in all this “woo woo stuff,” how I came to believe.  My answer sparked more questions, and also sparked the idea to somehow continue the discussion among a broader group of friends.

So that’s where this blog will take me, and you, too, if you choose to read along.  To the world Beyond. To my first memory of seeing a ghost.  To my father’s passing, my knowing that something was wrong before I was told.  To many more personal experiences, plus the stories of respected friends  — you’ll be amazed how many “normal” people have supernatural stories to tell.  And you may also learn that that strange thing that happened to YOU that you wrote off as nothing…was actually something pretty special.
